The 460 Realty team is on the grow again. We are excited to announce one of the newest additions to our team, Danielle Armet!

Danielle has called Nanaimo home for over 18 years. Previously living in a variety of cities in British Columbia reinforced her desire to remain an Island girl. Danielle brings her extensive knowledge of Nanaimo and surrounding areas, her compassionate nature, and positive energy to every client she serves.

Danielle has a passion for customer service. While employed as an unlicensed assistant with a thriving Qualicum Beach Real Estate team she cemented her personal commitment to becoming the best Real Estate professional possible. Today, Danielle assists people with their unique Real Estate needs and appreciates the healthy relationships she forms with everyone she meets.

Danielle values personal and professional integrity. She is loyal and enjoys new challenges.  Danielle blends her strong work ethic with warmth and humour. When she is not in the office or working with her clients, Danielle loves to spend time outdoors hiking and camping or creating gourmet meals in her kitchen.

460 Realty achieved a historical milestone on Thursday, as we became the first Canadian real estate company to hand out profit-sharing cheques to 18 of our agents.

At 460 Realty, we operate under an innovative profit sharing model that is unique to the Canadian real estate industry. While there are a few brokerages that engage in profit sharing back east, they are franchisees of the U.S. real estate company, Keller-Williams. To date, 460 Realty is believed to be the only Canadian brokerage that follows this structure.

“We directly attribute the success of our company to our employees, so Thursday was a very proud day for us,” said Randy Forbes, director of operations. “We are thrilled to be able to share the success of our operation with the people who helped us get there.”

460 Realty is a part of the larger 460 Group of companies, which also includes 460 Property Management, 460 Mortgage Investment Corporation and 460 Communications. This integrated model has provided lateral growth for the company, and has allowed clients to leverage services in a number of areas.

This unique business model is just another example of the out-of-box thinking that helped catapult the 460 Group onto the Vancouver Island real estate scene. In just two short years, the company has overtaken the number two spot for market share and sales in Nanaimo.

The company is co-owned by the licensees and employees, which creates a true, collective team effort. This fosters an environment where agents go the distance for each other, for their clients and creates a powerful culture that everyone benefits from.

The 460 Realty team has a new face joining our family in the North Island!

Kristina Fedorak has called Port Hardy home for the past 26 years. Her family relocated to the North Island a year after she was born and they have never looked back. Growing up she was very active, playing both league volleyball and soccer in school.

Kristina has always been a real estate enthusiast, purchasing her first home in 2005, before she graduated high school. Within eight short months, she managed to flip her first property, and from there went on to purchase a larger home, followed shortly by a rental property.

In 2008, Kristina switched gears and started her own surf, skate and snowboarding clothing store; however, it wasn’t long before her passion for property led Kristina to obtain her real estate license.

Kristina looks forward to helping first-time homebuyers, or an out-of-town buyer find their first home on Northern Vancouver Island, and is keen to share her vision and passion for design with her clients.

In her spare time, Kristina likes to take advantage of all the outdoor activities the North Island has to offer, including: hiking, fishing, surfing and kayaking.

Did you know that Vancouver Island is 460 km long from tip to tip? This week, the 460 Group expanded our reach into a few new markets on the island by bringing on a new addition to our team!

We are thrilled to announce that Merrilee Tognela has officially joined the 460 family. Merrilee specializes in real estate on Northern Vancouver Island, and has brought a whopping 71 listings with her to 460 Realty!!

This week, ten of our agents embarked on a #‎460roadtrip to Port Hardy to help welcome Merrilee, and assist her with the transition to the 460 team. Despite the wind and rain, we had a fabulous trip exploring this part of the Island.
