Merrilee Tognela began her real estate journey in 1998, when she started her career selling real estate in Haida Gwaii (formerly the Queen Charlotte Islands). From there, she moved to Port Hardy before relocating to the Nanaimo area in 2000 to work with the Coast Realty Group. Merrilee was very successful during her time at Coast, winning over 20 awards for being a top listing agent. Additionally, she landed in the top 2% of sales, and was also named the top-selling female agent in Canada.
Most recently, Merrilee decided to make the leap from Coast to work with the 460 Realty Group, where she specializes in her passion for selling real estate in Northern Vancouver Island, including areas such as Port Hardy and Port McNeill.
Merrilee enjoys life at home with her husband, her two cats, and her golden retriever Gracie. She also has two daughters, two grandsons and two granddaughters. In her spare time, Merrilee is heavily involved with a number of animal rescue charities, including two in Port Hardy – the Cats Meow and Four Paws.
